    Per our discussion in the rural meetup call, I interviewed Scott Peters for our Graduate Research & Reading group on Friday and asked him about the MAP assessment and identification. He directed me to this report he wrote about the topic, and I am sure he's happy to speak with anyone directly who is figuring out how MAPs might fit into their program - he said he interacts with a lot of Texas districts.

    Thank you so much for sharing this, Katey! I stumbled across your post and will be joining the Rural/Small District Network so I don't miss anything. 

    Dr. Peters did a session last year on how MAP equates to common ability and achievement tests like CogAT, NNAT, Iowa, iReady, and SBAC. He followed up with me to share some specifics:
